- Pithoragarh fort (Gorkha Killa): This fort is situated on the outskirt of the town of Pithoragarh, also known as London fort. In 1789, Gorkha constructed it, which is now deteriorated continuously past few years. however, it is still beautiful for photography and the handcrafted piece of work stalled inside the fort.
- Kamkhaya Devi mandir: it is the well-known temple of Pithoragarh for tourists visiting because it is at a high altitude with peaceful nature.
- Gandhi chowk: it is the oldest market of Pithoragarh which was earlier known for protesting areas for many protesters during Uttarakhand separation but now its become the place of several livelihoods.

It is manifested in the luscious soar valley situated near the Takaura and Takari villages of Pithoragarh.
- Thal Kedar Mandir: This temple is 3000yrs ancient of Lord Shiva for worship. the location offers extreme peace and serenity, located at a distance of 16kms from main Pithoragarh. Its history is mentioned in Skanda Purana (ancient text).
- Simalagair Market: it is the oldest market of Pithoragarh that avails every single need, desire, demand. it is also famous for various shops like Meghna sweet shop, which is the oldest sweet shop and still popular.

- War memorial: it is the only park as a tourist spot, also known as Maharajke park, located 4km from Pithoragarh near Kashani, Jhulaghat road. It was made in the memory of Maharajke posted martyred of Kumaon regiment in the war of indo-pak in 1965. From the park kamakhya Devi mandir and kV school Pithoragarh are easily viewable.
- Chandak hill: it is around 6km and 20 min away from main Pithoragarh city, which seems like chains of mountains offer serenity view as Chandak hill point is in high altitude so you have to pass through forest ½ km after leaving the vehicle in the road. The height is in little steep.
- Askot Sanctuary: Askot is equipped with a wide range of flora and fauna, located 5412m from Pithoragarh and 54km away. A vivid type of animal can be seen such as cheers, Cocculus, bhil, Himalayan black bears, snow leopard, and musk deer, etc. apart from wildlife habitat askot is also seen with many temples.
- Bhurmuni waterfall: it is one of the beautiful Waterfall in Pithoragarh. It is natural and provides an aesthetic view. Visitors often come to attain enjoyment with a scenic view of the waterfall.

The nearest airport to Pithoragarh is Pantnagar airport is located almost 241km away in the Nainital district. From there either you can go through another flight for Naini Saini Airport in Pithoragarh or cab, taxis, buses to reach Pithoragarh.
The nearest railway head is the Tanakpur railway station at a distance of 138km away from Pithoragarh. One can find taxis, buses from there to the real final destination.
